Mark Rhodes
Mark Rhodes is an Australian artist specialising in painting landscapes. The shapes of the land and sea from above and cloud formations form magical patterns.
In 1998 he qualified with a Diploma of Product Design from the Enmore Design Centre, NSW. He started his career as a set painter for the Sydney Theatre Company.
From 1993 he has exhibited as a full-time artist and has held many successful exhibitions throughout Australia. In 2007 he was a finalist in the prestigous Blake Prize and his painting was chosen to tour with the exhibition. In the same year he was a Highly Commended finalist in the Gallipoli Memorial Prize.
His paintings are held in private collections in Australia, France, the UK and the USA.
