Louis Ricaud
Louis Ricaud studied Bachelor of Arts ( Visual Arts ) from 1997 - 2000 at the Southern Cross University. He completed
a Bachelor of Arts ( Honours ) at Newcastle University in 2005.
Louis's work is about the ephemeral, permeable and changing nature of the environment. It is about the transformation
of the material to reveal its possibiities in a physical and aesthetic context. His practice is experimental and involves using
materials such as bees wax, sand, varnish as well as acrylic and oil.
He has held many successful exhibitions in Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane. His private collections include Qantas, Michael
Hannon - Southern Cross University and Constable Vineyards, Hunter Valley.
