Joshua Yeldham
Joshua Yeldham was born in Sydney in 1970. From 1989-1993 he studied for a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design, USA.
His work explores a spiritual connection and journey into the Australian landscape. His paintings form an interplay between his rich imagination and
desert experiences. His abstract landscapes and figurative works contain recurrent symbolic motifs, fusing the landscape and everyday historical icons
with narrative, imagination and myth.
In 2013 he has the honour to be a finalist in both the Archibald Prize and the Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
His work is held in private collections throughout Australia and his corporate collections include the Australian Stock Exchange, BHP Biliton Collection,
Mirvac Collection and the James Packer Collection.
