Hugh Ramage
Hugh Ramage was born in New Zealand in 1958. In 1979 he started painting and making sculpture. In 1982 he co-founded Shepherd and Newman
Exhibition Space at East Sydney, an occasional venue for local artists. In 1987 he established Cog, a non-profit exhibition facility in Pitt Street, Sydney,
and in 1992 he co-founded Funky 3D, a sculpture company providing commissioned work for domestic and export markets.
In 2011 his sculpture Time Lapse was exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney.
He is equally adept at painting and sculpture and has been a finalist in the Mosman Art Prize, The Waverley Art Prize and the Willoughby Art Prize
on numerous occasions.
