Helen Leete

Helen Leete loves to make sculptures, which give delight to people. Nowadays she works mainly in bronze doing commissions, both figurative and abstract. She is also well known for her many public sculptures around Sydney, which include " Earthmother " in the Royal Botanical Gardens, " Oceanides " in the ocean at Manly, “Landscape Form " at Macquarie University and many more.

She has exhibited widely, including four " Sculpture by the Sea " shows, and has been short listed for the Wynne Prize.

She has won a considerable number of awards and first prizes for sculpture in recent years, including the Art Gallery Society Award at Sculpture by the Sea in 2003.
