Marc and Gillie

As husband and wife, Gillie and Marc collaborate on all their artwork, applying the iconic imagery of the dog/human hybrid to celebrate the powerful spiritual relationship that exists between man and animal.

Initially Gillie and Marc painted and designed, but lately they have created many sculptures, including commissioned works for: Australia Zoo, Sydney Children's Hospital, Hilton Hotel Singapore, and recently the Yen Ren Four Seasons Hotel in Bejing. They craft in most sculpture mediums, including, bronze, brass, steel, wood and fibreglass.

In 2006 they were Archibald Prize finalists at the Art Gallery of NSW. In 2009 one of their paintings " He's a Musician " won first prize at the 2009 Chianciano Biennale, set in Tuscany. Their life-like fibreglass sculptural piece " Bondi Coffee Dog " appeared at the Florence Biennale in the same year. Gillie and Marc will also feature work in the 2012 public exhibition of Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi Beach, Sydney.

With a 20 year history of collaboration, Gillie and Marc's works have received acclaim worldwide and are held in collections both nationally and Internationally.
