Becky Guggisberg
Becky Guggisberg lives in the South Coast, NSW and draws her inspiration from her surroundings. For Becky the iconic Australian landscape is the beach with its constant coming and going of tides, seasons and times. She is inspired by Cezanne's bathers and admires his aim to unite figures with the landscape.
Becky completed her Advanced Diploma of Fine Art at West Wollongong Tafe in 2009, majoring in painting. She was a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize in 2007 and won the two dimensional category at the Gosford Art Prize in 2011.
She has held many successful solo and group shows in Australia, and her work is held in many private collections throughout Australia and the UK.
