Michael Vaynman

Michael Vaynman was born in St Petersberg, Russia. In 1982 as a young boy he immigrated to Australia withHis mother Larissa Smagarinsky ( a well known sculptress ) as political refugees.From a young age he showed interest in the Arts. In 1996 he completed a Diploma of Fine Arts with scultureas a major and in 2000 he qualified with a Bachelor of Visual Arts.For the past eight years he has concentrated on sculpturing and he works in many mediums such as clay,resinand steel .but his preferred medium is bronze. Michael produces all his bronzes overseeing each process fromstart to finish. He has held many successful exhibitions with the Sculptors Society, Makers Mark Gallery,Soho Gallery and a major exhibition at Tighes Hill Gallery, Newcastle
